Disable the animated Java logo in J2SE Runtime

Folks

Does anyone know if it is possible to disable the animated Sun logo (the rotating sun rays) shown when loading Java Runtime components? I do a lot of work remotely using Terminal Services and this logo absolutely kills the response time making working on switches painfully slow.
