EMC Replication Error
Hello!
We have a emc replication error between our local and remote servers (OS: Windows 2000/20003; Local: lbcv/r1; remote: rbcv/r2).The replication between r1 and r2 is ok but having problem with r2 and rbcv. When we try to manually execute the replication it syncs but failed in writing. What command could I use for troubleshootig this? Is zoning the cause? Also, is quick format ok with SAN?
I'm new in emc and would like to seek for your expertise.

Re: EMC Replication Error
Hi,
You're probably much better off asking this question in an EMC forum rather than a HP one...!
Cheers,
Rob

Re: EMC Replication Error
I wouldn't think replication would start if you didn't have resources (R1,R2, ServiceGroup, and RLinks) configured correctly at first. I wouldn't do a quick format. Can you afford to reboot the remote server/host? Didn't you state that the process worked/Sync-ed? but the status is WriteDisable on R2.
This happens after you did symrdf failover from remote host right?
Does symrdf query from remote host show WD?
You may want to consult with EMC.
