SAN boot problem
Hi All,
I am facing problem in SAN boot in superdome sx2000. Plz find below details
Hardware : Super dome SX2000
HBA card : Qlogic A6826
Storage : EVA 8000
O.S : OVMS
My problem is I am not able to boot from the SAN disk. When system is boooting it is not displaying the hardware and also in EFI shell it is not detecting but when system boots it is able to detect. Plz help me in this regard to boot the server from SAN.
The Firmware of the superdome is latest

AH, OpenVMS, the best O/S!!
Have you checked if the HBA card has the latest firmware?

You need to adjust the EFISCANLEVEL for that FC card in order to force a deep san scan.
