Which is your storage?
If it is EVA you may configure "continuous access"!!!

Before setup the DR pls check the oracle archive log size & time of log creation.
Then provide the RTO to customer.
Which SAN Storage your using in the DC & DR Site.
You can use the same HP-UNIX Server for DC & DR Server.
For SAN Storage to Storage Replication use the Storage continuous access or Oracle DataCart for the DC & DR Database replication.

Physically you could make the replicated HP-UX LUN available to a Windows system at the DR site, but the windows system would *not* be able to make sens of anything off the LUN even though its a raw Oracle LUN. There's no data compatability between Oracle on HP-UX and Oracle on Windows.
You will need a HP-UX box at the DR site to read the data.
