Storage Node Manager

I am configuring some triggers in the Storage Node Manager for in the case of fails. I inserted the email to be sent a server of smtp with the address for authentication, however he is not working. Somebody could please help me?

Is the Storage Node Manager IP adress allowed to relay messages. Can you connect to the SMTP server from the SNM server (telnet from the "SNMserver" to "SMTPserver" port 25 and recieve a HELO)
