Ynt: HPE VM Essentials (Morpheus) Socket query

Hi,

A single socket license does not mean that only one VM can be provisioned. HPE VM Essentials is licensed per physical CPU socket, not per VM.

Therefore, one socket license covers one physical CPU socket. The number of VMs that can be provisioned is normally limited by the available host resources such as CPU, memory, storage, service plan settings, quotas, IP pool availability, and placement policies - not directly by the socket license itself.

If you are only able to provision one VM, this does not look like the expected behavior of a one-socket license. I would recommend checking the following:

The physical socket count of the host or cluster
License status under Administration > Settings > License
Service Plan limits under Plans & Pricing
Tenant, group, or user quota settings
Provisioning task history for any license, quota, capacity, IP pool, or datastore-related error

If the host has more than one physical CPU socket, the environment may require additional socket licenses to fully cover the host or cluster.
