VMWare Adaptor Type
We have some customers wanting to use SR-IOV. What we have done, is set up a special VMWare cluster where this is enabled on the respective BIOSes of the cluster hosts. When deploying a VM in vCenter with this, one can now select SR-IOV as the adaptor type. When you do this, a list of PCI bus addresses will populate in a dropdown (as the “Physical Functions”, which are essentially the port on the adaptor). From what I have seen thus far, you cannot select the Virtual Function as VMWare seems to assign this automagically. Does Morpheus have any plans to support Adaptor types when doing VM Provisioning? Or will these VMs need to live outside of Morpheus. Anyone run into this use case?
