CPU model

I believe you can set the CPU model for a cluster. Is my understanding correct that this setting applies only to new virtual machines created within that cluster after the configuration is made?

If the cluster's CPU model is changed, must existing virtual machines be modified directly using `virsh edit` to align with the new model?
