Just for information
I'd like to know if there's a hyperconverged solution like XOSTOR or Ceph that I can set up with HPE VME on my 3 node cluster.

Re: Just for information
Hi
Yes Ceph can be used with VM Essentials, more details here: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=sd00007620en_us&docLocale=en_US&page=GUID-AAEE49BC-286E-4C04-9664-4A2FEBDFDCA0.html
I hope this helps.

Re: Just for information
So the conclusion is that yes, it is possible to set up hyperconvergence with iSCSI and Ceph on HPE VME, but I can't find any mention of Ceph when I search... Is there a tutorial, because this is all I see under “Storage”:
Or is it possible to set up Ceph, but only via the command line for configuration?

Re: Just for information
It's done when you create a new cluster, choose the Layout that has Ceph.

Re: Just for information
Thanks, so if I already have a cluster of the type “HVM 1.1 cluster on Ubuntu 22.04” with three servers on it, is it not possible to modify this cluster and add Ceph to it? Do we have to recreate a cluster and migrate these servers to it?

Re: Just for information
yes that's correct.
Usually the storage config will be designed before deploying VME.
You'll also need to confgure your local partions/disks for Ceph as it needs dedicated storage.
