Morpheus memory usage alerts

logged in to my newly deployed VME 8.0.13 setup with VME on medium size and 3 hosts with plenty of memory.
all well, but VME manager shows a memory alert/warning (yellow) on the dashboard -> system status.

So i go look for what it would be about. So i check administration -> health -> health status. Same yellow memory state but no guidance whatsoever on what actually is on waraning state or which threshold is exceeded. Am i looking at the wrong place?
Also, why would i have a warning? it's doing nothing.

any insights in what, why and next step?

Re: Morpheus memory usage alerts

I have a very similar looking memory map with a (4) node cluster and only (3) running VM's. It's even using swap:

total used free shared buff/cache available
Mem: 15Gi 11Gi 220Mi 7.8Mi 4.2Gi 4.1Gi
Swap: 4.0Gi 2.7Gi 1.3Gi

Is this the normal usage? The environment is running 8.0.13 with uptimes of about 25 days.  Thanks.

Re: Morpheus memory usage alerts

updated to version 8.1 and this cleared the alarms. Not sure if it was a fix or just a reboot/restart of all the things, but hey... green is green.

Good to know.  8.1.0 is on my todo list for this week too.  Fingers crossed.

Re: Morpheus memory usage alerts

Even everything is showing as Green in 8.1.0 the System Memory widget is still showing 98% used while doing nothing. Not sure if this is ok...

If it's the 98% system memory you are worried about, that's just showing what is allocated, not what is being used (it will always be high.)
