Multiple Datacenter Design Question
We have three small datacenters, we will run an HVM Cluster in each Datacenter.
There is shared storage in EACH datacenter but NOT shared BETWEEN datacenters.
Should I setup an Manager Node in "each" datacenter or is there a way to make all three talk together?

Re: Multiple Datacenter Design Question
You should be able to connect each cluster to a single manager, as long as the Data Centers have access to each other. I do this in my Test environment with my VMWare and HVM currently. I have an on-prem HVM and VMware and a VMWare at a Datacenter that I have in Morpheus here on Prem.. You may want a backup manager at each datacenter in case something does happen but you should be able to manage all 3 from a single location.

Re: Multiple Datacenter Design Question
So are those offline HVMs in the other datacenter or are they active HVMs?
If they are active how is it knowing who is the master and what not? I don't see anything about this in the documentation?

Re: Multiple Datacenter Design Question
Haven't tested in 9.0 but in 8.1 they were independent of each other.. you could leave them powered off until needed if you wanted to.. I just left mine running since I am still testing.

Re: Multiple Datacenter Design Question
How does the configuration stay in sync between them is I guess what I am asking?
Maybe an @HPE should jump in here and give us an answer for 9.x?

Re: Multiple Datacenter Design Question
In my testing they are unique and do not sync between the two.. because if once site goes down, the other site only needs access to it's own VMs.. So I manually configure each one initially and update when necessary.

Re: Multiple Datacenter Design Question
As mentioned, each cluster is independent and they don't need to know anything abput each other, that's why you only need connectivity between your sites and the Morpheus Manager.
Please take into account that every host in the remote site will need to be able to reach the central Morpheus Manager for everything to work smoothly, but you could also deploy the Distributed Worker to minimize connections

Do you have any documentation on this? @DiegoDelgado
