No network on Windows Instance

Hello everyone,

Need assistance as I'm currently testing HPE VM Essentials.

I found out that Windows VM does not has any network adapter installed. Initially I thought this was a configuration error, but then i notice when i go to device manager there is exclamation mark next to Ethernet Controller. The thing is I have no idea what to select as the drivers. Tried to go through documentation but I found nothing or possibly missed it. Anyone can advice me on this?

Re: No network on Windows Instance

Hello azhar87ers,

Hope you have enabled "Attach Virtio Drivers" while configuring the VM, if not you need to .

After the installation , ee need to install the VirtIO drivers to get this machine onto the network. We have a disk image mounted with the driver installer so we need to navigate to that drive and launch the installer. Open Windows Explorer and locate the drive in the side bar.  Right-click on virtio-win-gt-x64 and select “Install.” from the drive .
