Process to reset HVM node

I have checked documentation and the boards here but did not come across any way to reset a host to do a full reinitialize if something goes wrong or to move it between clusters. It seems the only sure fire way is a complete OS reinstall?

Is there a script or known steps to clear a cluster configuration and GFS2 (HPE Shared Datastore LUN)?

As of today, the best bet is to reinstall the host, specially because there could be some leftovers that cause conflicts when re-adding it to the cluster or adding it to a different one.

Re: Process to reset HVM node

Hello,

As far as I know, there isn't a built-in "factory reset" for a host. If you just need to remove it from a cluster, you typically need to clean up the cluster configuration and wipe any GFS2 metadata on the shared datastore.
