If you mean the hpe-vm console on the HVM host, it is mainly intended for host-level configuration and initial setup tasks, such as network settings, bonding, iSCSI configuration, time settings, and deploying the VM Essentials Manager appliance.

Once the VM Essentials Manager has been deployed, its configuration and the management of the virtual environment should be performed through the VM Essentials Manager web interface. This is where you manage items such as clusters, virtual machines, users, tenants, and other virtualization-related settings.

In short, the hpe-vm console is used for the underlying HVM host configuration, while the VM Essentials Manager web interface is used for day-to-day virtualization management.
