vmem stuck in resizing process
Hi Guys,
I am facing an issue: the VME Manager's reconfiguration has been stuck. After a few crashes of the VME Manager, particularly when trying to create a GFS2 datastore on AlletraMP's volume, I tried to reconfigure VMEM (4 vproc and 24GB). The memory utilisation was around 78% all the time. The current VMEM is medium-sized.
So, advice is required on how to kill the process and resolve the self-crashing issue or manage to resize the VMEM if needed.
Cheers, Alen

Re: vmem stuck in resizing process
Hello Allen,
Thanks for approching us for the reported issue. We would request you to check below:
1.is the VME manager reconfiguration working fine when you try only with local disk.
2. is this happening only when you use disk of Alltera?
3.Alltera supported firmware is 10.4.2 or higher

Re: vmem stuck in resizing process
Can you please share the output of where the reconfigure is stuck? 78% ram utilisation is normal dues to java heap allocations for the managers services.
