Delete specific line as indicated

Hello!, In the Hp nonstop we have a macro that we need to delete specific lines to update a record.

Here´s an example of what we have but this doesnt delete the line and we dont know how or why.

Example:

EDIT /INLINE / $VOLUME.SUBVOL.RECORD

++ *DB /[1234]/

++ EXIT

 

What can i do to delete this especficil line inside the record?
