Checking for updates result in error
Hello,
I got the following error when I use "check for updates" in settings/updates: "Connect to HPE software depot.-> Check for updates operation failed.
An internal server error occurred. (CDS_031)
"
.
This results in no updatecontent is downloaded.
Also the appliance shows a "not connected to HPE" in the section "Remote Support". The registration itself went fine, as it has a "registred" status.
Does anybody had a similiar error and a hint what to do?
OV version is 8.60
.
, but had that problem with older versions as well. Support Center token is configured.
Thanks to everybody...

Re: Checking for updates result in error
@Sunitha_Mod:
Why is this marked as "solved"? I wrote "no change" as "nothing has changed". The problem still exists.
Is there some sort of a list or anything for "CDS_errornumbers" and the corresponding components, so we can at least circle in the problem? Which logfiles in the dump-file to look at?
Thanks everybody...

Re: Checking for updates result in error
No-- that's explicitely an "internal" error and the code is meant to direct our support engineers to specific pieces of the code. Please open a support case for "internal" errors.

Re: Checking for updates result in error
As @DanCernese stated, please open a support case and provide the exact details. I would do this after you verify if there are no networking issues between your appliance and the available Internet connection. This would include validating any HTTP/HTTPS Proxy and/or Firewall rules that allow HTTPS (443/TCP) outbound to the documented FQDNs (documentation here).
From my experience, CDS_031 is typically due to connectivity issues preventing the appliance from connecting to the Software Depot backend, usually a Web Proxy configuration needed or incorrectly set.
