CLI access not supported?

I got error "CLI access not supported" and I am using OneView 2.0.

Re: CLI access not supported?

There isn't really a CLI for HPE OneView. There is a maintenance console that you can access via SSH, but must specify maintenance as the Username. You will then need the Administrator account password. You can perform appliance restarts and support access settings only.

If you want a CLI, you will need to use PowerShell, Python or another scripting language that interacts with the REST API.

Re: CLI access not supported?

We use ServiceNow to discover and inventory all our devices.  Do you know if it is possible to create a local account on the appliance, using for example PowerShell, so that the account can be used by the ServiceNow discovery probe?

Thanks
