Query: HP Oneview snmp trap forwarding

Hi,
I want to forward the traps coming to oneview to a different NMS system. All the definitions/configurations are OK. The traps reach the destination, but there is a problem. when I checked with tcpdump on oneview and the destination, I saw that the format of the snmp packets was corrupted. I wonder if oneview is manipulating the format when forwarding snmp traps.

• Ensure both HPE OneView and the NMS are using the same SNMP version, as mismatched versions can cause issues.
• Verify that no network devices (such as firewalls) are altering the SNMP packets.
• Use tcpdump or Wireshark to capture and compare SNMP traps at both OneView and the NMS. Look for any differences or corruption in the packets.

If the issue persists, please raise a support ticket with HPE. We will need to review the logs and will provide the plan of action (POA)
