I upgraded HPE OneView for VMware vCenter from version 10.3 to version 10.4 today.
In the update process, an automatic reboot of the appliance is performed. After the reboot, the plugin in vCenter shows the new version 10.4 and the appliance also shows version 10.4. However, I no longer see any progress in the upgrade activity status and the task stops at "Bring up system with the given image", with State: Running:
Does anyone know the problem, what can I do here?

Re: Query: HPE OV4VC upgrade process does not continue
Hello
Thanks for the link.
According to the document:
FIX:Run the following OSS shell program to move the DIP executable from the old DPA directory to the new DPA directory:
cd /usr/tandem/webserver/root/NODE<old node ID>/dip10
./restoreDIP <new node ID>
This is an appliance. How do I get to the shell here with which user?

SolutionAfter the update OV4VC (HPE OneView for VMware vCenter) to Version 11.0.0 the problem is solved. The "old" task from the update from 10.3.0 to 10.4.0 is still in state "Running", but the update from 10.4.0 to 11.0.0 was terminated with state "Completed":

Re: HPE OV4VC upgrade process does not continue
My 10.4 upgrade complete and shows it has been running for 6 months now.
I gave up trying to work out how to clear the alarm, various reboots etc had no effect...
