Our current OneView appliance is an a vcenter that sits on some G9 hosts. We are in the process of decommissioning those servers. We already have a new vcenter set up on some G10 servers that is in a different subnet. If I run a backup on the current appliance, can I restore it to the new one and just change the ip information, or will it fail because the ip is not the same? Just trying to figure out the best path.

SolutionIf all you are doing is to move the VM from one hypervisor host to another, move the VM files to the new hypervisor, then register it. If you also need to change the IP address, ensure you can authenticate to the appliance using a local account, then change the IP address from the VM remote console.
