OneView User Priviledges

Hi,

I 've a customer who has over 2000 HP gen8 servers (and growing). They're mostly DL servers with some blades and we're discussing the use of OneView for hardware management, monitoring and inventory reporting as they currently have no HW management layer and they lack control over this growing estate.

However their concern with using OneView is regarding security. Users could be Infrastructure admin,  Read Only or Server administrators - but across all the servers in the domain. There appears to be no way of giving users a view of only certain servers within a domain. Is this correct?

Unfortunately, HP OneView does not have the same or similar feature to Collections that HP Insight Control (HP SIM) offers.  While we cannot discuss future releases, do know that we do value customer and partner feedback to help prioritize features that are in consideration for future releases.
