Hello!
Is there any information if adding external NFS v3 datastores to SimpliVity ESXi hosts is supported?
Specifically, NFS shares from HPE StoreOnce, but not as the Catalyst store.
Solved! Go to Solution.

SolutionHi Sergei,
The attachment of external datastores on SimpliVity hosts (such as NFS shares, iSCSI targets, etc.) is NOT supported for gerneral use, but can be used for migration of data into and out of SimpliVIty storage.
The use of external NFS resources (and iSCSI targets) IS supported on guest VMs running on SimpliVity hosts.
I am an HPE employee.
