I have a question, a client has 2 Simplivity nodes with back to back connection, but also only has a 1 Gb switch, what is the recommendation for connecting the mgmt, storage and federation ports? Any recommendations?

SolutionHere are my recommendations
1. Use the back-to-back 10 Gb connection between the nodes for high-bandwidth Federation and Storage traffic.
2. Connect the Management ports to the 1 Gb switch, as it handles lower-bandwidth traffic.
3. Use VLANs to separate Management, Storage, and Federation traffic logically.
4. Enable jumbo frames (MTU 9000) on the back-to-back link and set up monitoring.
5. Recommend upgrading to a 10 Gb switch for improved performance and redundancy.
