Simplivity OmniStack Accelerator Replacement
Due to this topic, if I want to change the pci, can I change it right away or do I need to back up any data first?

Re: Simplivity OmniStack Accelerator Replacement
Greetings!
I understand that you are considering the replacement of the OmniStack Accelerator card on a SimpliVity node.
Data Backup: Before proceeding with the replacement, it is strongly recommended to perform a comprehensive data backup. This precautionary step ensures that your valuable data is protected in case of any unforeseen issues during the card replacement.
Check the health status of the federation and the other nodes within the same cluster. Ensure that there are no existing issues that could affect the overall health and performance of the cluster.
Verify the storage high-availability (HA) to ensure there are no violations.
Once all necessary checks are completed, put the specific node into maintenance mode for replacement.
Prior to the actual replacement, it is highly advised to log a support case. This step will facilitate a comprehensive health check of the federation and help confirm if there are any underlying issues that need to be addressed before the replacement.
