Simplivity POC/LAB
Hello
Is there any possibility to deply Omnistack for testing propose?
I've some olds HPE servers Gen10 and i want to to create a lab environement for test the scripts.
It's difficulte to test shutdown scripts on the production envirenments.
One HPE partner told me that it possibile to déploy the Omnistack manualy. Is it correct?
Thanks

Re: Simplivity POC/LAB
Hi,
You can re-deploy the SimpliVity nodes as you see fit. Although if those nodes are in production and a part of SimpliVity federation, you will have to remove the nodes from federation and then re-deploy following steps from the deployment guide.

Re: Simplivity POC/LAB
Hi,
Installing OmniStack software on any other server apart from SimpliVity 380, 325 or 2600 isn't supported.
You can install SimpliVity only on proprietary HPE SimpliVity nodes.
Please let me know if you have any further queries.
