Simplivity Upgrade Manager can't recognize ESXi bundle
Everytime I try to use Upgrade Manager it can't recognize the ESXi bundles. I noticed something in the logs but can't tell if that's the reason:
ERROR ScanThread-esxi [c.s.u.o.AvailableESXiVersions] addESXiPackagesFromCatalog - There is no ESXi packages in catalogs

1. The file size doesn't match because probably it compares them with "size on disk" which is larger and it's different that values in the .json
2. Where this ESXi-version-info.yaml comes from?
3. Any other thoughts how to solve this?
Hardware is 380 Gen10. Current versions are:
- Omnistack 4.1.3
- ESXi 7.0 U3i
- SVTSP-2023_0110.01
Same things happens on other environments with same or very similar setup.

Re: Simplivity Upgrade Manager can't recognize ESXi bundle
Hi Panov,
- From 4.1.1U1 an additional file called 'HPE SimpliVity InterOp Catalog' is needed along with its associated digital signature file to upgrade ESXi software to ESXi 6.7 P05/ESXi 7.0 Update 2a or later using Upgrade Manager. The same can be downloaded from Hewlett Packard Enterprise Customer Support site.Interop Catalog file needs to be extracted and placed in the same folder as Upgrade Manager and HPE SimpliVity Custom ESXi bundle.
- Link to Interop Catalog: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/swd/detail?swItemId=MTX_2269834c91864912b7da77dfbe
- One important thing to note is that Upgrade Manager doesn't support all versions of ESXi for upgrade.
Upgrade Manager only supports versions of VMware ESXi listed in Interoperability Guide document that are marked with (*)
To install other qualified versions not marked with (*) you must perform a manual upgrade. - HPE SimpliVity OmniStack Interoperability Guide 4.2.0: https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docLocale=en_US&docId=a00117319en_us (Please refer to notes Page 37)
- You will have to manually upgrade ESXi from 7u3i to 7 u3k using VMware-ESXi-7.0U3k-21313628-depot.zip which can be downloaded from VMware patch downloads page.
- This video explains the process to upgrade supported versions of ESXi by Upgrade Manager: https://youtu.be/346vY1Fi2h0

Re: Simplivity Upgrade Manager can't recognize ESXi bundle
if you are at 7.0 U3i then that is the latest offline bundle we have for Simplivity.
