upgrade manager fail
simplicity
We currently have two clusters in one data center.
I separated the cluster into different vcenters but still,
When running upgrade manager to 4.2.0.97, two clusters are visible.
However, fail occurs.
We only need to select one cluster and the run test succeeds.
However, the upgrade does not proceed.
Is it possible to upgrade without a specific clusterer?

Re: upgrade manager fail
Hello @mblee
Network or configuration issues may prevent complete connection between the vCenters. Make sure the upgrade manager can access each vCenter independently.
It is also possible that the cluster selected does not meet the hardware or software requirements for upgrading to 4.2.0.97.
In the upgrade manager logs, you may find detailed error messages or clues about why the upgrade failed.
I believe, upgrade manager is designed to work with specific clusters, so it might require a target environment to upgrade.
I would recommend you to contact HPE support team for more assistance, if you have further doubts regarding this
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Sanika.

Re: upgrade manager fail
Hi,
Please have a check on the network first by running svt-network-test on each cluster.
Try running the Upgrade Manager from the Arbiter machine if possible.
Upgrade Manager can upgrade clusters separately as well. Please note than Gen9 nodes can't be upgraded beyond 4.1.0U1.
