How to update disk firmware in 3940 drive bay of Synergy 12000?

We have some disks with same part number (STHB1800S5xeN010) but getting different firmware version like 3P02, 3P03. Also We need update all disks firmware to same version. Please find the attached screenshot and share procedure.

The firmware for disks in a D3940 shelf is updated via the server where the disk is attached too.  So in your case, the firmware will be updated when you attach a new SSP baseline to profile "SrvProfile-Bay4".

However this specific disk and it's firmware is not part of the latest SSP 2025.07.02.  See https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=dp00006505en_us for its content.
It's also not part of the previous SSP 2025.05.1.  See https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=dp00006165en_us

The reason this firmware is not included in the SSP's is that this disk model (STHB1800S5xeN010) appears to be a disk specific for 3PAR Storage and not for ProLiant/Synergy.  At least I could not find any reference for this disk related to ProLiant or Synergy....

Can you please share a compatible list of drives for HPE Synergy 3940 drive bay with SY 480 Gen10?

Here is the supported drives for SY480 Gen10:

• 2x SAS/SATA/SSD, 4x uFF or 2x Internal M.2 SATA drives or SATA/SAS in D3940 Storage Modules
•  2x Internal M.2 SATA drives
• 2x NVMe Drives or 2x Internal M.2 SATA drives, SATA/SAS in D3940 Storage Modules
