IMC 7.2 Software Deploy Script Exists Error

Hi all,

I'm experimenting with iMC which is new to me.

I have a switch which I'm now using SNMPv3 and SSH to succesfully manage, I'm backing up configs using SFTP succesfully and SNMP traps are generating the alarms correctly.

One thing I cannot do is deploy new software using the 'Deployment Task'.  The Deploy/Restore Device Software Report shows the following update result: 'Script exist error.'

Can anyone cast some light on this? The software was succesfully transfered to the switch.

As in it was copied over, but not updates/installed onto the switch which is a HP 5500-24G-PoE+-4SFP-HI

SOLUTION

> I was trying to deploy using the .bin, when I deployed the .zip the script must require this for extraction and deployment, worked fine, software update completed succesfully.
