Reinstall IMC Problems

I was trying to upgrade IMC 3 to 7, this did not work, so I uninstalled IMC 3, but when I go and install IMC 7 it tells me I am not able to connect to the DB and tells me the port in IIS is already in use.  am I missing something for uninstalling completely?  what DB's need to be removed, what IIS settings need to be removed?

I'm guessing that you've got a local SQL instance on the IMC server?

 

Completely remove IMC. Completely remove SQL server. Make sure all the directories are gone. Reboot the system. Now do a clean install, and it should work.
