Re: Can't upgrade IRS to 7.14.0.567

Hello @Customer3,

Ensure your system meets the requirements for IRS 7.14.0.567:

  • Supported OS version (e.g., Windows Server or Red Hat)

  • Required Java version

  • Adequate disk space and memory

  • No pending Windows Updates (if Windows)

Locate the IRS installer logs for more detailed info on what failed.

    Log Location:
    C:\Program Files\HP\IRS\log\

Search for entries around the timestamp when the installation failed. Look for:

    • SwmException

    • InstallError

    • Any dependency errors (Java, ports, permissions)

Sometimes the installer file itself is corrupt.

      • Re-download the IRS 7.14.0.567 package directly from the HPE support portal.

      • Verify the checksum (MD5 or SHA256) if available on the site.

    If you're upgrading in-place, try:

    • Uninstalling the old IRS version completely before installing the new one.

      • Make sure all related services are stopped.

      • Clean leftover folders:

        • C:\Program Files\HP\IRS\

        • %ProgramData%\HP\IRS\

        • /opt/HP/IRS/

    • Then install 7.14.0.567 fresh.

      Regards,
