Support for VMWare ESX ?

Most of our servers are now virtual servers on VMWare ESX virtual infrastructure, on HP c-class blades and EVA storage. So our VMWare ESX servers are our most imporant HP servers. But it seems that Service Essentials does not support VMWare. Is this correct? Does anybody know if that is likely to change anytime soon?
