Add additional CPU to rx2600

We currently have a rx2600 running with a single CPU that is being maxed out. Do you know if it is possible to add an additional CPU without having to reload the server?

Yes, you can add a processor to the system without reloading the OS.

The rx2600 can have a maximum of 2 processors (1.0 GHz, 1.3 GHz, 1.4 GHz or 1.5 GHz).  See the quickspecs here for more information:  http://www.on-queue.com/HP9000/RX2600/RX2600_specs.pdf
