As I can check disks of a itanium server?

What is your OS?

For HP-UX you may use "ioscan", "diskinfo" and "dd".

I want to make a physical check, independently of the operating system.

This is still not clear ;-(

All tools are depending on the OS, except the EFI commands.

If you are running HP-UX, "ioscan -fnCdisk" will show you all recognized disks.

You can see the connected disks with details ( part of h/w scan ) when the server boots up just before starting EFI Boot Manager.

You can get the same disk details using

Shell> devices

I know of no integrated means to use the standard EFI or POSSE to test a disk (displays have been discussed here), but if you want to follow your own path to this end, you might wish start your quest here:
