GSP - can't enter console

Hi all,

i have a rx4640 running hpux 11.23

Currently, i cant enter to console. VFP show OS is running.

This is what i get. I press enter or Ctrl-ecf doesnt work.

i cleared SL and CL logs but still can't log in. Can anyone gurus out there can shed some light what went wrong and how can i enter to console?

IMHO there are 2 possible reasons:

1) console is on VGA (check in syslog)

2) a hung process at the console (check with "ps")

I'm not sure you can trust that. Can you get any logon prompts other than the console? Or still connected with rlogin/ssh?

Yes, you are right!

"System Console is on the ITE"

i dig in syslog and i found above. It should state as Serial.

Good news.

Next time you boot, use conconfig from EFI to adjust.
