I am tring to load HP-UX 11i V2 on some rx2660 servers but keep running into an error that I can not figure out.
They previously had SA-P400 RAID controllers in them thsoe were taken out.
The system hets to the HP-UX lard screen but will not load becasue it " does not see the disk drives "
SHOW SAS ERROR NO DRIVES SEEN I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE DRIVE ARE INSTALLE DIS SLOT 7 AND 8 AND THE SAS CABLE ARE HOOKED UP PROPERLY TO THE MOTHERBOARD????
I assume that it is becasue these machine had the RAID card in them but still dosn't make much sense to me..
PLEASE HELP:)

Solution
hi,
first thought is its not cabled up correctly, but if it is the disks should be found at the EFI shell? are they detected here?
if not then this is a hardware configuration error within the system
If they are then you may need a later version of the OE media, what is the version date code that you are using?
