ILO Console problem
Hello,
We have 2 new Itaniums with ILO/BMC.
When I attempt to access the console using the web interface (remote serial console), the java window pops up correctly and I can see console broadcasts but am not able to key in any of the normal CO commands. I have tried ctrl -ecf, crrl -B, esc -(, crtl B, esc (, ctrl -Ecf. On a second machine using the same browser, we can access the Console.
Is there a key combination to clear and allow access to the console? Do I need to reset the ILO and/or the BMC?
Thanks in advance,

Re: ILO Console problem
Hello,
what is the server model ? check for the MP firmware. if MP firmware is bit low an update should solve the issue.
Telenet to MP (or access through serail console). Run below command to check the firmware revision.
MP>CM << enter
MP>CM>sysrev.
Firmware for the servers are available under
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Product.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodCatId=321933
