Intergrity Servers
Hi,
I was wondering where I could buy a Intergrity Blade Server Running HP OpenVMS I''ve been working with VMS Software on the x86 port and am wondering if this is going to be supported by HPE.. I'm a HPE shareholder. I've been reading the VSI OpenVMS for Integrity Servers Version 8.4-2L3 Release notes. I have my Channel 9 Microsoft Coffee house notes.

Re: Intergrity Servers
Hi Jonathan,
You can still purchase HPE Integrity Servers from the HPE Renew organisation in your local country.
The rx2800 i4/i6 server is perfect for this and hardware support is still available from HPE.
If you want a platform for OpenVMS x86, then the Proliant Gen11 servers with Intel CPU are perfect for this.
OpenVMS can only purchased from VSI and is only supported by VSI, both Itanium (IA64) and x86 versions.
You cannot run an OpenVMS (IA64) version on an x86 server and vice-versa.
OpenVMS platform support information is available from VSI.

Re: Intergrity Servers
Hi Jonathan, you would have to buy an Integrity and then buy the license.. here are some quick prices for you.
Hardware:
BL860c i4/i6 Blade w/ 1 x 2.53GHz CPU, 16GB Memory, 2 x 147GB 10k drives - $2,700.00 (USD)
RX2800 i4/i6 Server w/ 1 x 2.53GHz CPU, 16GB Memory, 2 x 147GB 10k drives - $3,500.00 (USD)
VMS OS:
VMS IA64 Base Operating Environment (BOE) 1-year subscription - $2,200.00 (USD)
We build and sell the hardware and re-sell the OS. We can put more (or less) internals in the Blades/rx2800 upon request. If you want addition info, let me know.
Thanks
