Re: itanum booting !!
Hi
Stand alone, npar, vpar, virtual?
Firmware
EFI (* where MBR resides *)
hpux.efi (* c0t0d0s1 *)
vmunix (* c0t0d0s2 *)
...were vmunix is the kernel found under /stand/vmunix.
The boot disk looks like the following:
MBR - Master Boot Record - c0t0d0
EFI Partition Table - c0t0d0 - points to the System Partition EFI table, c0t0d0s1, The start of the O/S c0t0d0s2, and the HSPS or Diags / Service Partition, c0t0d0s3.
Finally there is a backup of the EFI Partition table also found in c0t0d0.

Re: itanum booting !!
That is a very big question. Would you like to narrow it down a bit? For example, what OS are you trying to boot?
