Moving Memory Online
Can i move memory resources between two vertual machines online with restarting the server?

Hi Tarek, I suppose you're taking about VMWare. I think, you can't move memory between virtual machines without restarting them; but you don't need to restart the server itself.

Hi,
No it is not possible in case of HP integrity VMs. VMs are created on a VM host with specified amount of memory. Memory is considered as "static" resource. The memory resource change will take effect after VM is restarted.
In fact, if static resource is tried to change with "hpvmmodify" command, it will give message saying the change would require VM restart.
