Redundant Hard Disk Controllers

Dear All,

Thanks in advance. We are currently looking for a server that has redundant hard disk controllers. Was wondering if any of the servers in the HP/Unix lineup that has this feature?
Thanks again.

Regards,
Ray

Re: Redundant Hard Disk Controllers

All HP9000 and Integrity servers can have a combination of several SCSI controllers together with several (internal and external) disks and software mirroring (LVM).

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: Redundant Hard Disk Controllers

I have noted the response from HP on this issue and am surprised. This since I was assured that P400/512 and the P400i/512 in the HP DL580 that I have could not be paired for redundancy (mirroring) at the hardware level. Is this information true or false?
