Rx3600 disk drive installation - drive not visible

Hi,

 

I have an Rx3600 with HP-UX installed. It has 2 drives in bay 7 and 8. I am trying to install 2 additional drives. I installed these in bays 5 and 6. Only the drive in Bay 6 is visible and the light comes on, i.e. I cannot see the drive from the operating system. I have tried other drive bays, but with no luck.

 

Any tips on how to make the other drive visible would be appreciated?

It could depend on the (RAID) controller you are using.

# ioscan -fn
