rx6600
Hi,
We have a rx6600 server which came with 16 * 300 GB disks. with P400i Controller card which supports RAID 6. Its running HP-UX 11iV3. In ioscan -funC disk, it shows 8 * 300 GB disks and 1 * 588 GB Logical disk, which i think is a logical drive from the internal array. I would like review the RAID configuration but unable to do it. Through MP, when I access "co", it shows the P400i controller card and shows 1 logical drive out of it, However, when i Press F8 to make some changes it takes me to EFI shell. I except some Interface to review RAID settings of P400i controller card. Please suggest the way ahead.

Re: rx6600
Instead of "F8" you need to use ESC 8.
From hp-ux run
# ioscan -fn
and look out for a "ciss" device, let's say /dev/ciss0.
Then run
# saconfig /dev/ciss0
for the details.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Re: rx6600
Hi Torsten,
I used Esc+8 and got into ORCA. However, I cant delete any logical drive. I think its usage of keys, because I am on Console through MP and not through VGA console.

Re: rx6600
The manual says "... Use the arrow keys, space bar, and Tab key to navigate around..." - for me this always works even via MP.
However, if the logical drive is not the boot disk, you can do this (and even some more) online with saconfig.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
