ISA server authentication
Hello,
I am implementing an ISA Server (new windows 2000 proxy server) at my customer??s site, and I have a problem (perphaps it is its normal behaviour, I don??t know). I have the enterprise version, that is integrated with the active directory. If a domain user opens the Explorer browser, proxy doesn??t request him any authentification (it takes the logon name and password of the person). But if a user opens Netscape browser, it requests always authentication, although you are inside the domain...Do you know if this is the normal behaviour of this product?
Thank you in advanced.

Re: ISA server authentication
Yes it is normal (default behavior). Default for ISA server is to authenticate users and to use Integrated windows authentication if possible. IE is capable to use integrated windows authentication netscape is not (I do not know for the latest version of netscape). If you do not like it and if you security policy allow it you can enable anonimous authentication on ISA server for outgoing connections (because your internal users are already authenticated by windows).
