HP5920AF - send logbuffer to server

We've migrated to a dc and ive been handed two hp switches to manage.  First time working with HP switches. All our other switches / routers are Cisco which are configured to communicate to a server on port 514 that send their logs (#loggin server 10.X.X.X).  They are all working.  It this same task possible on the HP 5920AF, to send its log to an destiantion IP address?

Hi @bighead8181 !

Sure, you can instruct the switch to send syslog to remote server by using following command:

system-view
info-center loghost <ip_address_of_the_syslog_server>

You can check Network Management and Monitoring Configuration Guide for more details about managing your new device - https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/docDisplay?docId=c04566746&docLocale=en_US

Hope this helps!
