advise on disk group config

Hello,

We have an MSA 2050 with additional enclosure, populated with 46 HDD 2.4TB each and 2 x 400GB SSD disks.

the SSD disks will be for read cache one in each pool, for the rest my plan is to create the following:

dgA01 - raid 6 - 10 disks 2.4 TB each
dgA02 - raid 6 - 10 disks 2.4 TB each

dgB01 - raid 10 - 10 disks 2.4 TB each
dgB02 - raid 10 - 10 disks 2.4 TB each

remaining disks will be spares

is this a good configuration ? if not please suggest a better one.

Hi,

The disk groups follow power of 2 recommendation and have identical RAID configuration for optimal performance.

This would be the ideal configuration.
