With respect As far as I know, each processor has its own RAM in servers with two processors But a question arises here because I encountered it Two processors with one RAM on the first processor came up and worked, meanwhile, a single processor with one RAM on processor 1 and one RAM on processor 2, which has an empty processor slot, what is the mechanism really like? Does it work on generation 10 servers?

SolutionIf you scroll down the Server QuickSpecs you can see the Memory to CPU connection on DL380 Gen10.
As you can see, there are 6 Memory channels going direct to every CPU.
No way to map a Memory Slot from CPU 2 to CPU 1, without CPU 2.
Less or more Memory Channels in older or newer Servers with AMD or Intel, but always the same Design.
