HP P2000 MSA - controller management
I lost the connection with the controller management via IP. I can log in, but I do not see any data or technical disks, or the logical or physical structure of the regiments. Nothing.
When I want to perform some operation via the web panel, I have the following message:
"Link veryfication failed
The Storage Controller has been shut down. The current operation is not possible"
I have access to disk drives from hosts for now. I can see the data by the hosts.
Why does not the manager download data from disk shelves?

Re: HP P2000 MSA - controller management
This situation can occur when Management Controller not able to communicate with Storage Controller.
When you access SMU or CLI those are showing you data with the help of Management Controller but if this is not fetching any data from Storage Controller due to communication issue that time this may happen.
There will not be any impact on production data as no issue with Storage Controller.
I would suggest you to try to login to one of the Controller serial port and restart both management controllers. That may fix it. If still issue exists then take downtime and stop all application. Then restart both Storage Controllers.
Commands to restart management controllers,
# restart mc both
Commands to restart Storage Controllers,
# restart sc both
Hope this helps!
