MSA 20 error... Logical drive assign issue with 642 controller
I have an MSA20 enclosure with a 642 controller. I make a 3 drive (3X 2tb) raid 5 array, and the make one logical drive of 1.5 tb.
This gives me a bunch of unassigned space to make another logical drive. So I add a logical drive of 1.5 tb and it goes through all of the initialization but then errors out saying "No Drives".
What is happening here? I thought I should make the physical drive using all the drives, and then separate it up into logical drives because of the 2tb limit. Is there something I am missing?
Thanks,
H
